LRFF might be a little late in giving thanks but as a tireless worker at the festival I'd like to thank all the founders, Brent and Craig Renaud, Jamie Moses, and Owen Brainerd. This film festival wouldn't exist without your guys' vision and commitment. I'd also like to thank Jack Lofton who works harder than anybody all year to make sure this festival is ten times better than the year before.
I'd also like to thank Vone who makes every event run smoothly and hip. Thank you to Jacob for making sure we only see the very best films. Thanks to Angie and Hayley for keeping everything straight and under control. Thanks to Steve for being our rock and a kickbutt technician who selflessly gives his time. Thank you Sarah and Eric and to Russ and Chad for knowing everything to say and how to say it. Thanks to Anne and Lucy for being the face of the festival to all the filmmakers and make sure their impression of our city and state is the very best. Thank you to Amman, Mike (Poebot) and Paul for making sure that the music is just as good as the films. Thank you to John for your images and giving us everything we need to look good. Thanks to Lens and Harley Ricklin for our websites. I'd also like to thank all the countless volunteers that is the foundation of our festival.
A big thanks goes out to our Board of Directors (David, Sarah, Jeremy, Ray, Franklin, Blake, Warwick and Jerald) without whom we would be aimless. And of course a giant debt of gratitude is due towards are wonderful Sponsors.
I would also like to thank Philip and Karen who over the years have created one of the best resources for film culture news and reviews on par with some of the best papers in the country. Another thank you goes to Lindsey and his crew of writers who reinvigorated the youthful awareness for the Little Rock entertainment scene almost single-handedly.
Thank you to all the other film festivals such as the revered veteran Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival and the Ozark Foothills Film Festival as well as the new and exciting Underground Film Festival, the 540 Film Fest and Conway Film Festival. All of you help make our state a better market and more enjoyable place for filmmakers and film-goers.
Thank you to Riverdale for letting us show our films in your space and to Market Street for being edgy and art-house all these years. Thank you to the Chamber, Capitol Hotel and the Peabody for your hospitality. Thanks to the great food places that fed us and gave us something good to drink after a full day of amazing films.
Which reminds me of why we're all here: the filmmakers. Thank you for your dramas about brothers with troubled fathers, for bittersweet stories about batters with one swing left in them, for real life stories about our veterans, our heroes. Thank you for films that we don't get to see in the multiplexes and for taking the time to come talk about them.
And most importantly thank you to me for being able to sneak in the world's worst film in to a flawless lineup.
And to anyone I left out email me and I'll edit this thing to put your name in here.
Thanks Everyone for making this festival one of the best parts of my life.

Cirque Success! Sold Out Screening w/ Exec. Producer Pledger and Actor Massoglia
The Friday night screening of Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant was a huge success. Following the film, Little Rock native and Executive Producer of the film, Courtney Pledger, and Actor and Star of the film, Chris Massoglia, were interviewed by the Arkansas Dem-Gazette Film Critic Philip Martin. After an intriguing discussion on the process of making Cirque, Pledger and Massoglia ventured to Copeland’s where the sold out crowd followed them for drinks and appetizers.

Happy Halloween: Costume Ideas
Today's the best holiday of the year other than the week of the film fest (LRFF day?). So on behalf of us at the LRFF enjoy yourselves tonight with movie themed halloween costumes. Here are some ideas:
Easily the best hands down idea. Yours Truly as Carol from Spike Jonze's Amazing Where the Wild Things Are.
Nothing's creepier than Dressing as Tommy Wiseau from The Room.
Never mind.
Okay. Scariest halloween costume ever? Could this be a still from the next film in the series, perhaps?
In honor of Jackie Earl Haley in the new Nightmare revamp.
You'll be the coolest at the party in this easy to do Shaun costume. Got a tie, cricket bat and shaved head and glasses? Done and done.Us at cameras on the radio are having a Hitchcock themed party at Corey's house. I'll be going as Jimmy Stewart from Rear Window. Wheelchair and binoculars can't get much simpler.

Vampire's Assistant Q and A with Courtney Pledger and Chris Massoglia from cameras on the radio on Vimeo.
It was a fun event. I got to pay for Ray McKinnon's popcorn and was able to film most of the Question and Answer series moderated by Philip Martin between Courtney Pledger the film's Executive Producer and lead actor Chris Massoglia. Go out and see the film and support local filmmakers like Mrs. Pledger!

Cameras on the Radio is everywhere
After almost two months of successful radio shows Cameras on the Radio is still going strong. Now we have a livestream account that will hopefully allow us to broadcast live with multiple cameras for special events and broadcasts where they have internet. In fact here's a message from a famous celebrity we shot at the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival who urges you to watch not listen to the show:
Judge Reinhold Loves to Watch Cameras on the Radio from cameras on the radio on Vimeo.
